IMAP’s Aim is to

“Reignite play and playfulness in communities to improve health, wellbeing and discovery of potential.”

IMAP sincerely believes that without play and playfulness growth, wellbeing, awareness of self and an understanding of this beautiful cruel world we live in would be non-existent.

IMAP is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that endeavours to support and increase awareness of the importance of play for children, young people and adults. IMAP carries this out by increasing awareness of the importance of play, optimising children and young people’s opportunities to play and reconnecting adults to playfulness. Conjuring up the magic and power play holds for learning, growth, healing and increasing wisdom.

IMAP prides itself in using play theory and playful methods as its key mechanism to engage with all age groups from children through to the elderly.

IIMAP puts the client at the centre of all they do and understands that in order for real growth to occur we must place power back in the hands of the client. Therefore, building supportive environments and experiences that reconnect them to their natural play drive through whatever IMAP service they choose.

Through this approach  IMAP clients and participants Reimagine Play & flourish.

What makes IMAP unique is we recognise the importance of play not just for children but for young people and adults’ development and growth. We acknowledge how tapping into playfulness can support individuals and communities to evolve.
