Playful Entrepreneurs - SSE
My time with you on Friday was great, it allowed me to think about things from a different point of view. The tasks were very inventive and allowed participants to think outside the box
The tasks that stand out for me are the name making tag, and the blind fold exercise. It made me think about how much I take for granted and how much I do not use.
The other task that I thought was excellent was the back to back task that you have to explain the picture to the other person. As I think that I have a problem with listening and understanding, and it makes me think about how much I have to learn and grow in this area. So, for that thank you!”
As at present I am the kind of person that asks for directions on the street, does not listen to understand then has to find someone else to explain it again. So yes, that was a standout point for me.

It was really great to see you in action.
I really enjoyed the afternoon and felt the leadership part was most powerful for me.
As a teacher I am a firm believer in play being a method for learning and the early year’s pedagogy is what Gener8te is based on. The techniques you used were enthusing especially in being a leader and what that might mean in practice.
I have a broader understanding of leadership now and how different styles of leadership can be beneficial and effective at different times. Because this was not only explained, demonstrated, practised but also reinforced in several different methods, one being for us to work as a team to demonstrate the method, I have found it easy to remember and imbed into my practice both as an entrepreneur and as a trainer and teacher.
The only thing I would say which you are most likely aware of is the pace and timing of the activities and course. As you said however it was a pilot. As a trainer I would say maybe you packed too much in and energies did wain a little as you so rightly noticed at the time.
I would have been totally happy for you to do an afternoon just on Leadership and connect it briefly to the other subjects of development and awareness and come and do additional training with you around those areas.

Creating a Safe Space for Staff - Adventure Playgrounds & Nursery Teams
That was an excellent day, allowing us to both play and search within for present and future pathways to better communication and understanding.

The session was fun and purposeful, and I could tell that the team appreciated it. The anonymous voting system was interesting, a great tool. Facilitation was warm and brave and brought out strengths and generosity in others. People in the organisation were more open and clearer about issues that affect them, and that we look at concerns and issues as a wider team.

There is nothing I would change!!! I think the workshop was pitched at the right level and had a good variety of activities to ensure everyone was involved.
Adventure Playground Playworker
I think the most useful thing was how it encouraged participation from everyone and that there was opportunity to hear people’s stories. Also, that the workshop covered how it is to be both on the frontline and in management – big picture activity was very good.and in management – big picture activity was very good.
My own experience in recognising I shouldn’t try to fix/answer every problem but let others think through situations and problems themselves before I speak up. I feel the workshop really encouraged us all to think about what might be going on in other people’s lives both personal and work which is important.

Amy Winehouse Foundation - Amy's Yard Music Programme
If they taught like this in school when I was younger, I would have learnt so much and enjoyed it much more.

Amy Winehouse Foundation - Creative Facilitation AQA
It was really beneficial and I learnt new things in a creative and fun way.
Getting to see how people have different views on situations & supported in building my confidence.
I enjoyed every single moment of the creative facilitator session. It was fun, engaging, informative and creative ;) Jade is a phenomenal facilitator, she truly made me feel comfortable and at ease. From the very beginning I was able to be myself and let my personality shine, which doesn't always happen in all environments. At the start of the session, she made it clear that the space we were in was not a place of non-judgement, fear or negative vibes and that really set the tone for the day as there was good energy everywhere. My confidence grew as we went through each activity.
She was very encouraging and supportive. I learned many things on how to become a great creative facilitator. I can't think of anything to improve that session, it was truly amazing. I really appreciated the fruit as well.

Inspired, engaged and reflective, that’s how I felt at the end of the Playful Creative Facilitation Workshop with Jade.
I was motivated to try out all the techniques I had just learnt and felt drawn towards the different learning styles (Honey and Mumford in particular) which lead me to reflect on my own learning experience. An important leaving message was to learn all the styles, especially the ones you don’t identify with so that you can help others. That really stuck with me as I think it’s really important to be inclusive as a facilitator.
The playful elements such as using play dough, role play and moving around the room, where really effective in helping me remember what I had learnt and how important it is to play to multiple senses. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone interested in working with people.

Reigniting Play - Great Ormond St Hospital
I learned about the different play types and about the play cycle. Enjoyed getting the chance to play with toys and do different activities. The trainer was very passionate and fun. The room was big so lots of space for group work. I would definitely attend another IMAP workshop; it was fun and interesting.

It was a good reminder to link play principles to young people. I enjoy the balance of play and learning knowledge. The trainer was really friendly had a good vibe and obviously very knowledgeable and relatable, the space worked well too. I feel like this was a good amount of knowledge it could have been a bit more related to the various hospital environments. However, some amazing and very useful ideas and knowledge shared.

I learnt about the cycle of play and Bob Hughes play types. It was very interesting, and I would like to look into them further. I enjoyed participating in new activities for example, fire and hammer and nails. I think these are great ideas I would’ve liked more information on the play cues maybe a separate session or the session could’ve been longer. The trainer was very enthusiastic and engaging. I would take part in another IMAP workshop again.

Let them Play! Youth Adventure Playground Session - Fully Focused
I loved being able to learn lessons while playing. I didn’t even realise that all the playing I was doing and connecting to my childhood could be linked to my adult work. Big loveeeee

I really really enjoyed the play fire playground thingy. It was COLD, but after standing by the fire for a bit, it would’ve been a disservice to not run around in the playground. More time I’m quite playful anyway, but it was nice to share that with other members of the team/staff as well. Just everyone letting loose and goofing around.

I had a wonderful time too. It was really fun especially as it reminded me of when I was little, I would always go to the park outside my flat so playing on the zip wire and the swings brought those memories back in which I made close friends. Even though I haven’t seen some of them in a long time. It was really great to meet everyone in person and just be free and do something out of norm and have fun being content with myself

Last night was really fun, I haven’t had a day where I could be young again for a long time. It was good to do stuff I used to love doing when I was younger. Definitely made me realise how free you are when you are young. Moreover, being in that atmosphere was really cool, the fire, the swings just was a good vibe. Definitely made me realise that I’m still young and to enjoy it before it’s too late!
